VETS CONNECT is an initiative to help veterans and active duty service members thrive by providing access to high-impact, free resources in three specific categories of health and wellness:
We believe that creating an intentional focus on improving mental health, establishing healthy habits with fitness and nutrition, and curating spaces to nurture human connection will have a positive impact on combatting the veteran's PTSD and suicide epidemic.
VETS CONNECT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY:
We Women Rise - a veteran and women-owned nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the contributions of everyday women in our communities. We shine a spotlight on unsung heroes who display acts of kindness, service, and compassion that are the backbone for creating positive change.
DO/LOVE/LIVE - a veteran-owned and operated non-profit organization with a mission of creating positive change by inspiring people to DO/good, LOVE/big, and LIVE/now. DO/LOVE/LIVE’s mission is to provide resources and programming to combat the veterans PTSD/suicide epidemic.
Fast Friends Beer Company - a veteran-owned and operated production brewery, restaurant, and private event venue located on three and a half acres of lush green space in south Austin, Texas. Fast Friends is all about creating an environment to facilitate human connection—whether over a great beer, delicious food, or a shared moment. We believe in the power of friendship, and that’s why we focus on creating experiences that foster trust, build community, and make everyone feel like they’ve Never Met A Stranger.
